How did you decide to get into your line of work?

As I have always been interested in taking photographs and how to capture what I see - I do love to take photos. Would love to just get out there and take photos and allow everyone to see what I can see and capture.

I love the way my customers react when they see the final product. I just feel very special when I get those thanks and see their reaction to the photographs supplied.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

How long do you need to take to set up? What do you provide in the way of photos (I.e. do you provide a photo book? do you provide the Digital files and on what media). Who owns the photos that are taken for the customer? Can I refuse to allow the photos that are taken to be used for Publications for the photographer?

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Who actually owns (copyright) to the photographs supplied? This is always a very tricky question. When I do a photo shoot for a client I advise them that I still own the copyright to the photos but I license them to (depending on what they have paid for or are willing to pay for) display, print and publish in print or electronic format any of the photos but they do need to show my copyright or company name when they do so. In some circumstances I do allow the on selling of my photos but that will incur a royalty cost per print.

We provide reasonable Rates for most Photographic shoots in Northeast Victoria. We are the preferred local photographic company used by Winton Wetlands and have been published in various Australian Travel magazines

What type of Photography the customer requires. Indoor or outdoor Special requirements. What size the customer requires the output to be in and what format Will they want to publish or use personally

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Main tips prior to asking for quotes would be 1) how much time do you expect to have for the event that you want photographed. 2) Need to know what you want to get   3) Ask as many questions about what is provided and how long that will be to provide the finished product.

We do provide differing tiers of costs depending on the time or the event that you are looking at our services. This means you only pay for the time or photos that you want and not extras that others may charge.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Depending on the Services that are required we charge by the Hour for those smaller jobs, half days or even full days. We can provide a cost and explain these costs when you request a quote from us.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We do specialise in a few areas and as such these can be found on our website. Landscape, Wildlife and motorsports are the main areas that we provide services but have started to help with Real Estate Photography as well as Wedding Photography.

We have been taking photographs for over 20 years both in Film and Digital. We can help in taking, processing and publishing photos. We can even provide workshops in various photographic technics.
