RTEC Group specialises in structural, geotechnical and civil forensic investigations and design. Our Principal, Rohan Tregear, has extensive experience from more than 20 years as a structural and civil engineer. He worked for a major railway engineering consultancy for 10 years where he lead design of bridges, retaining walls, station buildings, maintenance buildings, as well as inspecting, assessing and proposing repair works for all such structures. He also worked for more than 5 years for Metro Trains Melbourne reviewing and directing designs, work methodologies and protection works for many of Melbourne's level crossing removals. Our expertise spans structural projects of all types – from private homes to multi-storey structures, recreational developments and transport infrastructure projects. We have worked on temporary, new and historic structures, drawing on the latest design techniques and consideration of sustainable materials technology.
