What do you like most about your job?

People, we are an amazing lot, all have different idea of value, flaviour, presentation and ideas. over the years we have been asked to do some interesting stuff.  Food, its our passion and in our blood as a fourth generation Chef in my family, I love to be in the kitchen. When a custoner comes up to me stuffing there mouth while saying "this is the best food i have ever eaten", well i'm happy.

How much?  Can you do this tomorrow?  Why do we have to pay for staff at a dinner? Inevitably these people are just trying for cheapest price for a grand occasion. Most times once we have followed our standered questions (see previous statment) we are on the same page and in an understanding

1. Budget, be realistic and be awair of hidden costs. 2. Site selection, is the back yard big enough for 100 people to sit and eat? 3. timing, is there enough time to fully run your event, include speaches and presentations.

blanket discounts are normally just added to starting price and then offered as discount, to no great advantage. if a client is just shoping for discount thats what they will get in there food. we offer a 5% prompt payment discount, better than most.

All our pricing is inclusive of all outgoing costs, no hidden extras. We do not charge for extras or for items normally expected, like bread and butter for sit down meals. We own most of equipment needed for events so there should be no hirage charges. BUT we will not cut costs on quility of produce used, cheap ingredients lead to average food

Depending on customer and event. recently a client wanted a street theamed event on the farm property, so rather than quoting for individual aspects of numerous traders, they required us to fullfil brief at a budget, which we did under budget. Others require accounts to ge broken down for FBT porpoises , which we do.
