Ask or provide infomation to the best of your ability on: * what time can the professional schedule your work in * what are the total costs, e.g. hourly rate, fixed rate. * do they know your operating system (Windows 8, Apple MAC OSX, etc) * Do they ask the age of your computer - it still may be under manufacturers warranty or an extended warranty

"My computer is slow; whats wrong with it?"  A very popular question indeed and rightly so! But there are so many variables in todays computing environment that it is too troublesome or risky to fix IT issues over the telephone in under 30mins. There are too many scammers that are out there pretending to 'fix' your computer: ALWAYS HANG UP ON COLD CALLING CLAIMING TO BE I.T. SUPPORT HELP DESK REPRESENTATIVES. You should be calling them - not the other way around.  With your permission we can remote control your computer with you having the power to disconnect at anytime, from nearly anywhere at any time!

1. Always save your work and make a back up it onto another disk or USB stick. Remember: if you can't afford to lose it, back it up.  2. Remove any CD's, DVD's and disconnect any USB sticks or harddrives.  3. Turn off and turn back on all IT equipment in a safe and timely manner.
