I'm Heather & welcome to Small Dog Grooming Whilst there are many other dog groomers on the market, both large and small outfits, here we believe dogs that are caged and tethered to a table, are more stressed thus providing a negative experience for your dog. We prefer to take our time (within reason) and use positive words for your dog helping them through there anxietyso, that Fido comes and goes from his appointment happy and relaxed. Another positive to Small Dog Grooming is that you have the choice to stay whilst your beloved pet is being groomed. Alteratively you may go out attending to business and pick up your beloved at a pre-arranged time. After being greeted by my two white fluffies, Chloe & Dottie, I immediately start the grooming process. Personally I prefer to have a two hour window in the event your dog is wriggly or nervous, especially first time round. In most cases, after the first couple of grooming appointments you will find your Fido quite relaxed and happy for the outing and personal attention. Once finished grooming you are then sent a personal text message advising that Fido is ready for collection. This means that your dog is here for the least amount of time and welcome you with a fantastic new hair cut and will be the envy of mutual friends at the local park or walking area. In addition, your dog is not placed in a cage whilst awaiting your collection. Indeed, Fido is welcome to wander the secure, double gated premises. Small Dog Grooming offer you, the client flexibility in timing. For example, if your time is at a premium and your schedule requires you to be out for the day, Small Dog Grooming will happily welcome your dog at your prefered time and then have him or her ready for collection as it suits you.
