When I was in high school, I worked as an assistant in my local repair store and found the people interesting. Also a lot of interesting stories about how they got a virus.

A customer called me and told me that their laptop was not working correctly. I asked the usual questions and then realised the laptop was only 9 months old and covered under warranty, so I told them to call HP. They ended up receiving a newer laptop from HP for free and offered to still pay me.

I have always like solving problems, so this Job is perfect for me.  I have been consulting on this sort of work for about 10 years on and off.

How much do you charge? Is that per hour, or per job? Will you come to me? Do you complete on site repairs of hardware?  Is their a price difference completing a repair on site? This question will save you a lot of money. You could save 80% depending on the issue.

Are their any hidden fees? No, we charge what we quoted. Some quotes may vary if it is a hardware issue.  Will you come back and fix it, if same issue occurs? Of course, this is rare but in the off chance that we did not fix the issue, we will come back.   Can you come with in the hour? Mostly, YESS

I have a list of happy customers willing to be a reference. I have saved people thousands of dollars in repairs by doing some simple checks.

90% of my quotes have been as quoted or cheaper. The other 10% was due to parts. We will fix your issue efficiently. We rarely need to come back to a job once we have completed it.

Is it plugged in? Do you know the password? What were you doing before the issue occurred? Was their a power outage in your building? Some may not know this - Dose it have a wifi card

Answer as many questions as possible. Send lots of photos - Sending photos allows me to do some research on your computer before I start. Check your warranty - The repair might be free.

$10 off for repeat customers. I can sometimes offer further reductions, only to repeat customers. To sweeten the deal. That is $10 off what we are charging at the time.

What makes your pricing competitive?

My pricing is 50% of other local repair technicians cost. We are priced based on our work load. During our busy days we will increase it. We pride ourselves on being honest with our customers and not overcharging for simple repairs.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I normally charge per Job around $40 per repair. That covers the cost of the repair and technician. We have little overhead which is why we charge so low.

I wouldn't say I specialise in one particular area. I am probably more skilled with hardware issues. Tho, I really don't know as I have never thought about it much.

We have multiple people working for us. All have at least 2 years experience repairing computers in store and at location.
