Depends on whether job needs to be done onsite or not. Do they need to build a new system. Can the work be done online? Are they starting or they know their requirements.

Get financial information organised before arranging the job. As collating it later will take more time. Have an organised system or build a system together. Be proactive with tax obligations. Create an online working environment.

I charge a reasonable price compared to the market. Normal bookkeepers can charge between $50 - $80 depending on services provided. Much cheaper to use a BAS agent than an accountant for business activity statements.

I charge an hourly rate for regular work and a fixed rate if it involves lodging BAS statements . Private arrangements can also be done.
