We guarantee you are happy with the proofs or we will re-shoot or refund. Workcover, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity are provided.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My father was a photographer for many years in the good old black and white film days. I also enjoyed taking photos and competed in many competitions and exhibitions. This eventually lead to beginning photo journalism and covering pro sport. It just moved on form there, constantly learning.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I recently shot a range of breads / cakes / muffins for a commercial bakery. There was the opportunity to stylise shots and add creative designs of muffins, ingredients and lovely natural timber serving boards. After the shoot I even got to take home about 30 muffins which delighted my son's class.

I enjoy the different working environments and the creative aspects of photography. The ability to work outside and at different locations daily greatly appeals.

Have you done this type of shoot before? What samples do you have of similar work? What extras might I need and what do they cost? What is the turn around time to get my images?

What extra services do you provide, such as editing, deep etching etc? We do limited to full Photoshop editing to meet your requirements and quote accordingly. How do I receive my images? Images are uploaded to your private gallery and you are given a time limited link.

I am always early for a shoot and have been for 20+ years. I have covered project for large companies who have always been happy with my work.

It depends on the type of shoot: For People Outdoors Location, Time, Style are important For Products / Food Location, Quantity, Size and where they will be used (Magazine, Paper, Web)

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Know exactly what you require from the shoot (Images on pure white, stylized images or natural). Ensure products are clean and ready to be photographed (cleaning will consume time and increase cost) Provide a brief of what look and feel you want for the images and a flow for the shoot.

Customers who require regular work can negotiate to get a better ongoing price with future work. Thus if you update your catalogue of products monthly, the I can give you a much better rate than a once off job.

With over 20 years in the industry, I am able to work reasonably fast and as such can keep prices fixed for you when I estimate without surprises.

I normally work on an hourly estimate where I evaluate what time the job should take and provide a fixed price based on the information you provide.

With many years in people photography I have previously specialised in model folios and fashion, these days I focus more on creating stand out images for websites and advertising in the areas of products and food photography.
