Frequently Asked Questions
Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?
Exceptional service and competitive prices. We are able to supply and install a range of flooring from laminate to raw timber. Alternatively you may wish to provide your own product and save money by just paying the installation price.
What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
Over 10 years of experience laying timber floors. We have laid a range of flooring types including floating floors, engineering, direct stick, plank on ply and staircases.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
We lay all types of timber floors including floating floors, engineering, direct stick, plank on ply and specialise in staircases.
How do you normally charge for your service?
You will receive an invoice and can then choose your payment method. Bank transfer is preferred but we also accept cheques.
What makes your pricing competitive?
We will provide you with a preliminary quote based on a discussion of your needs. We can then negotiate based on any queries you may have or quotes you have received from other companies.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
- Cut out the middle man by coming straight to the layer rather than going through a larger company who will only contract your job to companies like ours.
- Prices will be lower if you provide the product yourself.
- Our prices are negotiable.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
- The size of the area (how many square metres)
- The type of product you are looking at or whether you would like advice about the type of product that will suit your needs.
- Any other details you may require (e.g. skirting)
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
We want to make sure you are happy with your floor and in the unlikely event there are any problems we are happy to return and put them right.
