Noni is the BEST!!!!!! I came to her to ask for two paint colours and she ended up helping with me the whole house!!! She helped with paint colours, wallpaper choices and installation, drapes, carpet, splash back colours, lights (oh, the lights she found!!) and has been unbelievably helpful and... Noni is the BEST!!!!!! I came to her to ask for two paint colours and she ended up helping with me the whole house!!! What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
My qualifications are Advanced Diploma of Interior Design & Bachelor of Arts. I am a current Interior Designer member of DIA (Design Institute of Australia) I have experience in retail design and residential interior design and decorating projects.
What do you like most about your job?
I love working with clients to achieve an outstanding result they are thrilled with. I am happy to say that working closely with my clients builds rewarding relationships that are ongoing and long lasting. I am often engaged for futher projects by the same client.
How do you normally charge for your service?
Depending on the scope of the project, I charge a fixed fee for larger projects negoiated at the start of the project or for smaller jobs I charge an hourly rate. A site visit consult fee is $150 for first hour including travel.
What makes your pricing competitive?
I have access to a large number of trade suppliers and can offer discount pricing for any procurement items such as furniture, wallpaper, fabric, window furnishings, feature lighting. My clients can take advantage of exclusive discounts from my trade only suppliers.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
The things that are helpful to know beforehand are room or space sizes, style preferences, are there any existing items to be included, functions of the area and how you want to use the space and most importantly what is the budget for your project. All these things if you need help to determine or decide can be discussed at the briefing stage of the project.
Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
Residential private homes and new residential developments, and small commercial including retail, cafe/bar spaces, hairdressing salons, boutique hotels, lounge bar etc.
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
Most of my work comes from referrals from previous clients or from photos of previous projects. My relationships with clients are longlasting and longstanding over years. My clients feel they can come back to me for an other future projects they have. I pride myself on providing outstanding results that speak for themselves.
