Usually clients don't know where to start and have no idea what to do. I explain this is common as its not a job we do all the time. I on the other hand am doing it all the time. I know all the latest products as thats my job. Clients usually get very inspired as they can start seeing the picture.

I love to get clients to send me pictures of the areas they need help with if at all possible. I like to know if I need to bring paint colours, fabric swatches. Apart from that going to the clients home is where it all starts.

1. Pintrest is a great app- create your own pin boards for each room. This also gives me an idea of what you like. 2. Interview at least 3 designers- get a feel for each one and have a list of questions. 3. I will save you more money than my fees, with the discounts I can get you.
