Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes I am an insured business. I absolutely guarantee my work. If someone is not happy with their photos I will happily arrange another time with them to complete the shoot again. I will always do everything within my power to ensure that clients are happy.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have been passionate about photography for many years. I first starting learning this craft 10 years ago but after having children, it took second priority. Now that I have a Diploma of Advanced Photography and many shoots under my belt I have the confidence to take on each client and tailor the shoot to suit their needs.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I was so nervous about receiving feedback from my very first paid client. She sent me a message telling me that she absolutely loved the photos and has recommended me to all her family and friends. I have since done 2 more bookings with that client with another booked before the end of the year!

What do you like most about your job?

What I love about my job is meeting people from all different walks of life and getting to know them. Everyone is unique and has a story to tell and I get to capture that in the images I take. The joy that people express after seeing their photos keeps me going. I also love that I am in charge of my own destiny and can work around my family.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

A customer should simply ask what is important to them. Some questions may include, how long before they see their images, where should they go for printing, do the images come watermarked, and/or license to print, what happens if they're not happy with their photos, how much experience does the photographer have, what qualifications does the photographer have and can they see a portfolio.

The most commonly asked question to me is "Can I have all the digital images" My answer is yes, absolutely! I will always choose the best images to be included in the final selection but see no reason to withhold images.

I have never once to date let a client down! I am always punctual, courteous and carry about my business in utmost professionalism. I am loyal to my clients and ensure that they are always happy with my work. My reviews speak for themselves.

I believe there is a real gap in the market for beautiful photography at an affordable price and I think I address that need! I specialise in wedding, event and family photography. Capturing real people and real moments as they unfold. I am very fortunate to work with many people for all walks of life and am proud of the many reviews my lovely clients have left for me (seen on my website under testimonials). As a Mum to two young children, I relate well to kids of all ages and have lots of tricks up my sleeve to keep them entertained! I really listen to what the client wants so that my photography really meets their needs.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

The type of shoot such as family portrait or event photography, the date, time of day and length of shoot is always handy to know. Any other factors such as how many people are expected at the event, and if there are any special requirements for images is also good to know.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

I encourage clients to shop around. I provide beautiful photos as a very affordable price. Unlike most other photographers, I provide the images taken on a disc or USB rather than expect customers to pay for prints. Customers should be aware of the total cost before they choose a photographer. A complete idea regarding what they are after is beneficial as I can always tailor my services to include prints and or album etc.

I don't believe in gimmicks, or discounts as my prices are exceptionally competitive as they are. I encourage you to compare my pricing structure with the quality of the images I provide against other photographers to asses this for yourself.

I believe everyone should have access to beautiful photography that they can be proud of. The photography that I offer is affordable without compromising on quality.

How do you normally charge for your service?

At present my pricing structure is as follows: Family portrait session is $295 for my classic session and $460 for the deluxe session. Please contact me for pricing on event and wedding photography. Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I specialise in family, newborn, maternit, event and wedding photography. I believe by honing my skills to just these areas, I can really reach my target market and be an 'expert' in these genres of photography.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I hold a an Advanced Diploma of Photography from the Photography Institute. I am constantly upskilling, undertaking various courses from Creative Live to increase my knowledge. I have a strong customer service and sales background which has put me in good stead as a photographer.
