Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes we are insured and we offer a 14 day period right of reply that if they are not happy and have due cause we will reprint the work at our own expense, no questions asked, all they need do is return the faulty product.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My Father was a printer and he ran a couple of country newspapers in the 1960's. Alan my brother, always worked in the trade and works part time with me. I guess it was always in the blood.

Back in the 1990's an elderly lady came in and asked me to guillotine some photocopying she had gotten done at a nearby Post Office, I said no worries and guillotined it for her. She asked me how much and I said, dont worry about it as it only took me a minute. She thanked me and went on her way. I got a call later that day from her son who owned  about 3 medical clinics. it seems he was looking for a printer and had heard what I had done for his Mother. 15 years later we still do his work and he is one of my best customers.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy the customer interaction, the satisfaction I get when i see the finished result knowing that I have had a hand in producing an item that many people will get to see.

These days people are generally shopping around for the best price available and often come unstuck dealing with inexperienced and amaterish operators. They need to ask how long we have been in the game, our experience speaks for itself.

We need to know the substrate required, how many will be needed, is it one or two sided, are their multiple pages involved. What kind of finishing is required. Will they be supplying any artwork.

A customer can save money by knowing what they want in regards to design and not making too many wholesale changes during the design process. Obviously the more time we need to spend, the more a job can cost. Planning is important.

We can provide a very competitive pricing structure as we have low overheads, own all of our own equipment and do most of the work inhouse, not having to rely to heavily on 3rd party partners.

At present we prefer company cheque or electronic funds transfer but shortly we will be adding paypal and credit card facilities to expand our service to our customers.

We specialize in the design and printing of stationery and point of sale advertising material and have now added dye sublimation printing, offering a no minimum order service.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Both Ian and Alan are trade qualified printing people. Alan has just on 40 years experience starting out as a linotype operator in the 1970's, Ian is a trade qualified printing machinist with 30 years experience.
