Before hiring any bookkeeper ALWAYS check to see if they are a registered BAS Agent on the Tax Practitioners Board website and legally authorised by the ATO to lodge your BAS. 1. Ensure you gather all of your invoices together 2. Write a simple description on the receipt for any "out of the ordinary" purchases to show what the expense is for 3. Consider what sort of reporting you would like for your business. For example, do you need to report on different revenue streams
