How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Photography has been a passion of Craig's since he was a child.  He still clearly remembers buying) his very first SLR film camera (Pentax K100) back in the 80's.  Craig has been taking photos ever since. Craig went to NMIT obtained his Advanced Diploma in Photoimaging in 2009.

A photography client should always ask what experience or qualifications the photographer has.  It is always essential to view the quality of the photographers work.  This is usually done via a website but can also be done during a meeting with the photographer.

Customers often ask how long will a photography shoot take.  Craig's answer is generally how long is a piece of string.  A clearer understanding of how long a shoot will take and how much it will cost can be clarified if the client can provide all the necessary information.

What is the photographic project?  Is it a family portraiture sitting, a commercial shoot or something else.  Craig will need to know exactly what the project is, how many images are required, what medium does the client want the images delivered on, time expectations etc etc.

Customers can save money but providing detailed information about the requirements of the job Customers can save money by providing a clear uncluttered work space for the photographer. Customers can save money by having clear expectations and desires in regards to the project.

Craig's pricing is competitive with other accredited professional photographers.  Don't be fooled by cheap rates given by inexperienced, untrained and unqualified photographers.  Don't risk precious family moments or your time and money on business photographic projects with amateur photographers.

Every photographic project is different with varying challenges and technical requirements.  Craig normal rate is $180 per hour but may vary depending on the project.  The price of the project is always confirmed before commencement.  So there are no nasty surprises.
