once i finished my apprenticeship i was looking for a challenging job which would keep me interested. fixing appliances does that for me as almost every day i see something i haven't seen before.

I always enjoy walking away from a job where i have fixed the appliance and the customer can immediately get back to what they were doing, wether it be cooking cakes or washing clothes.

Ask for a fixed price. Ask what the warranty is like. Ask if they are qualified and insured. Ask experience.

Quite a few customers ask me to diagnose issues over the phone or worse still ask for instructions over the phone, which is quite dangerous as you cannot see electricity. It is always safer for me to come out and check your appliance for you.

I can usually give you a 2 hour window for when i will arrive so you won't be waiting around all day.

Because of the nature of faults in appliances, they almost always need a diagnostic to pinpoint exactly what the issue is.

The fact that my price is fixed means there are no nasty surprises when the bill comes, if i don't believe it is viable to fix the appliance i will be honest and recommend replacement over repair.

iI charge a FIXED PRICE $129 to diagnose the appliance, if any parts are required or services required i will quote a fixed price prior to beginning work.

Although i am a fully qualified electrician, my passion is repairing appliances such as ovens and washing machines to prevent them from becoming landfill
