If I could give zero stars I would. The owner wants you to pay the company 3 months in advance which is of no benefit to the homeowner. I respectfully declined to go ahead with Time For You Berwick, so the owner of the business decided to hold my house key hostage, even though she said she would return it to me “as a matter of priority”. I’ll never get my house key back. Money hungry and unethical.04 Jul 2019
Hello Annabel I understand our business model is not a system that suits everyone but just to clarify we do not ask for clients to pay in full for 3 full months of cleaning as indicated in the review, but we do ask for a small deposit to show commitment that clients are serious with needing a regular cleaner and that I can move forward and introduce them to their dedicated cleaner and arrange insurance for the cleaning. However in this case the small deposit was never processed on the agreed date as the service was cancelled after meeting the cleaner. All these details are very clearly explained over the phone in the initial phone chat, I also followed up with an email which provided an over view of the discussion before meeting with you, and explained again when we meet in person to arrange your cleaning schedule and introduce you to a cleaner. I'm sorry that after I'd arranged an introduction with one of the cleaners and you gave her your house key it was decided to cancel the cleaning with that cleaner. I did send an email with an alternative offer/cleaner to getting your cleaning started, I wasn't sure if you were still taking this offer into consideration as I haven't received a reply as yet. Your key is not being held hostage and will be returned as soon as possible, at any time you are more than welcome to reply to my email so I can advise why there has been a delay and arrange the return of the key at a suitable time/location to avoid any security issues. The suggestion of posting it back opens me up to depending on a third party (Australia Post) to deliver it safely to your letterbox, which I do not feel comfortable with. I have been operating since 2015 and this is my first poor review. I'm guttered. But I will learn from this and work on ways to improve my service and procedures which will ensure I provide a better customer service experience for my clients. It is always my intention to strive for good reviews as their are many local ladies needing school/kinder hours work who rely on my business to match them with lovely homes, and clients rely on me to make sure I thoroughly vet the cleaners on my database before introducing them to the household. Just like any workplace or social situation there are people you warm to more than others, that's why I always offer to introduce clients to another cleaner if when you meet your allocated cleaner you don't feel it's a good match. I'm very sorry on this occasion our services were not what your family were needing and wish you all the best moving forward.Deb J
