I have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance. I am also a member of the complimentary medicines association, this is important as it ensures I practice in accordance with professional standards. A naturopath can never guarantee work due to the nature of health. However I would accept complaints and make a resolution based on the circumstances.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I always wanted to help people, so I became a nurse, but then I got sick with chronic disease and I used natural therapy to help control my disease and I realised how well it worked and decided I wanted to learn more.

A client who attended my clinic with rhumatoid arthritis in terrible pain and wanting to reduce her medication but she had tried everything and could not reduce her medication. With in 3 months her doctor was able to reduce her medication as her pain was under control, truly wonderful!

What do you like most about your job?

I get to help people feel well again it really is so nice to see people learn about how to get well and how to stay well. It is a privelidge for clients to include me in their health managment and to trust me with their health. I also get to meet wonderful people from different backgrounds.

How many visits do I need? It will be dependant on your condition however I usually aim to work with a client for 3 months to solve their problem three sessions is usually enough. How do I make longterm lifestyle changes? You need a plan and support and you need to practice every day.

I sell may services as a package as naturopathy does not work in a single consultation. Most clients require a minimum of 3 sessions and for this reason I provide a package that includes three sessions so you have nothing more to pay accept for any testing or supplements you may require.

I specialise in assisting women with hormonal problems particularly menopause, PCOS and endometriosis. I am also very experienced in chronic disease and auto immune conditions and love to see people gain control over their health condition with increased knowledge of how to control symptoms.
