All Hours Physiotherapy operates from 15 locations around the Central Coast and Hunter Regions. Our Physiotherapists are happy to see patients in the practice or at home. Physiotherapists are experts in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions such as neck, headache, back or other joint and muscle pain, in providing rehabilitation after strokes or after surgery such as joint replacements or for broken bones, and in treating a range of other conditions. Physiotherapy can reduce pain associated with day-to-day, work, recreational or sporting injuries whether they are recent or longer-term problems. Aches or pains that you have been putting up with for a long time can often be eliminated or alleviated with treatment that addresses both the underlying causes and the symptoms of the problem. Conditions that physios often treat include pain associated with arthritis, tight muscles, stiff joints, lack of mobility and “wear and tear” over the years. Massage is sometimes an important part of physiotherapy treatments, or can be given on its own. Physiotherapists can tailor exercise programs appropriate to your needs and to suit your level of fitness. Medical evidence shows that if you keep physically fit by exercising regularly you increase your chances of living a healthier life – feeling well, looking well, staying mobile and independent. Individually designed and carefully monitored exercise programs are important for people who have heart or lung problems. Physiotherpists also provide basic advice regarding good diet, which in combination with exercise can reduce excess weight. Chest Physiotherapy helps people who have various breathing and other chest conditions such as asthma, emphysema, or pneumonia. No doctor's referral is required to see us. However, for some conditions a doctor's referral may allow up to 5 free treatments per year, bulk billed through Medicare.
