I first contacted Lindsay after contacting a number of other gardening companies with a view to getting a quote to clean up both my front and back gardens,Lindsay was the only one to offer to visit and give me a quote the others wanted to quote over the phone or visit sometime even if no one was home when the did a quote. When he came to my place I was surprised at the amount of time he spent looking around the gardens (let me explain) my front yard is an English style garden with a lot of trees, shrubs and bushes that were intermingled and very overgrown and Lindsay spent close to an hour going through the trees and shrubbery-making suggestions and advising on what should be done,what needed to be removed,trimmed,cutback and or shaped before he made any conversation about cost. Lindsay gave me a verbal quote and said he would send me a written one, which he did in a very timely manner. Lindsay spent 6 days working in my gardens, working only on days I was home (as I work full time) so that he could discuss with me everything that was done . After seeing his work ethics I was very comfortable leaving him with a set of house keys when I went out so he was able to use the kitchen and bathroom as he needed, I found Lindsay to be a brilliant gardener, the changes he made in my gardens have had a major impact on the way my garden looks and my ability to now be able to care for it. All in all I'm now proud of the way my gardens look and believe Lindsay should be proud of the job he has done- a complete transformation, done at a very reasonable cost given the work involved and the sizes of the trees and the grevillia's he removed. After the work was complete he advised me on the continuining care of the garden and the individual plants. I intend to have lindsay visit periodically to advise and assist where needed. I am more then happy with the work done by Lindsay and his work ethics and attitude and would recomend him to anyone wanting someone to look after their gardens.
