Location: Frankston, VICJob Description: The gate worked perfectly when the post was replaced four years ago, but the opening now seems narrower and the gate has become difficult to open. I dont want to replace the post again, so Im hoping for a long term solution based on adjusting the gate itself. Could you please check whether the gate can be re aligned, trimmed slightly, or fitted with adjustable hinges so it operates smoothly and stays that way for the next 10+ years? If needed, Im also open to adding a diagonal brace to help keep the gate square over time. If you have a better long term approach than the options Ive mentioned, Im very happy to go with your recommendation. Frame a new gate panel approx 800m wide by 1800 high with Stile (photo 3) & gate rail (to be dismantled from another OLD gate) and then hinge this new gate onto one of the existing gate panels 3.) Install on this new Gate panel - 1x 400mm Drop Bolt and 'gate latches' (to be dismantled from an Old Gate) 4.)
