most definitely, all work is completed to a high standard as you would expect. Also we are fully insured so if any accidents occur its all covered :)

My father got me into the business, when i left school i didnt know what i wanted to do so i decided to get into plastering until i find my way but it just so happens that i never left :)

At Sydney Metro Plastering we love what we do, nothing makes us happier than the feeling a client has after we have completed a job. A lot of clients often wonder how a job will look at the end when the beginning stages don't look like anything they anticipated, but at the end clients are grateful and sometimes overwhelmed with the result.

It really does depend on the job but as a blanket rule you should always find out if the person is licensed and insured first and foremost, after that you should ask for any website details so you can view past projects and see if this professional can provide the service you are looking for.

how many coats of plaster do u put on? The answer is 3, we 3 coat all our joins to ensure a top quality finish. We also paper tape all our joins which makes for a stronger join in the long run.

we love what we do and we treat every job as if it where our own, meaning we finish it to a high quality standard as if i was doing it in my own house :) also we love meeting new people and to share stories.

- Prepare a position for our staff to dispose of rubbish, the less we take away with us the more savings u can have.  - Have the job site already covered and ready for work, we often charge for extra materials we use to protect ur property.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I have been in the industry for a long time and have come to the conclusion that u dont need to charge large amounts of money to make money in the industry, our rates are not to cheap as to make it look like we are a bunch of cowboys but its not massively overpriced like some companies which to some clients that would mean that they must know what there doing. Our prices are definitely in the middle where we know we can make money but also the customer has a little more money to decorate as we know that the plastering is not the last part to any project.

How do you normally charge for your service?

that all depends on the type of job, for renovation work i usually charge a daily rate + materials but if it was new extensions/houses i would charge a price per square metre.

We specialise in all things gyprock. Ceiling replacements, suspended new ceilings, build new walls, patch holes, repair walls, repair cracks, repair ceilings, build bulk heads, new cornince, patch cornicing, fibrous cornice,  build sound barriers,  install manholes & inspection holes and more

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Over 11 years active experience in the trade, i have spent years in all parts of the specific trade that is gyprocking so whether im doing steel frame, sheeting or setting my skill set is equally good among them all. Of course we are fully licensed and insured but i think the type of experience u have is essential to providing a good all round service.
