How long will it take?  Generally most printing jobs take 1-4 days to complete. Unless they are large quantity booklet jobs or special finishes like embossing etc.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

In order to quote on printing jobs, we need to know the quantity of items, the size (and shape if applicable) the paper or card type, what kind of printing (colour / mono) and any finishing required. Also if urgent - when the items are required.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

To save money on printing, try to print multiple jobs at the same time. e.g. order business cards for 4 staff members at one time rather than 1 at a time.  Also prepare your wording and rough layout before we start designing to save on artwork costs.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We make sure to use the most cost effective method for the job you need. For example if you require 10 A2 posters we will print them on a large format inkjet printer but if you require 50 we will run them on a digital press which works out better value. We can do 50 A2 posters on 170gsm for $3 each!

How do you normally charge for your service?

We charge approx. $80 per hour for artwork. Larger jobs are quoted at an even better rate. Printing jobs are quoted on a job to job basis but we have many specials such as 1000 Full Colour quality business cards for just $130+GST.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in full colour printing of cards, brochures, posters, stickers and other products. We also cater to the odd items that many printers don't do, like magnets, rubber stamps, promotional products and signage.
