Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are a fully insured company with 20 million public liability insurance. All our vehicles are fully insured. We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months and the locks we use normally have a warranty of 7-10 years.

What do you like most about your job?

The most common answer to this I have found with locksmiths is the variety of the work locations. One minute we are at someone's house then inside a bank vault, then at the shopping centre etc... And the variety of work type... A car, then a safe, then a keyless card lock all in the same day.

We like to fins out more about your requirement. We will ask questions such as... How many doors are there? What type of doors are they? Wooden, Aluminium, Hinged, Sliding? How many locks are on each door? Can you use a key from one side or both sides? Do you have a preference for colour? How many keys would you like?

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

One way, is to remove the locks from the door and bring them into our shop - if this is possible. Other ways are to get locks keyed alike so you don't need to pay for as many keys. And another is to avoid the really low quality locks that tend to fail more quickly.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We charge a call-out fee to attend site which covers our travel overheads etc. Then we charge labour for time on site with any locks or parts required. We can cut keys on site also.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

All our Locksmiths are trade qualified, with federal police clearance and fully licensed. We have been doing this a long time and always keep up with current lock options and technology.
