I have full Public Liability Insurance, level of Indemnity $10,000,000.  All my work is guaranteed under the Consumer Affairs Victoria legislation.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I started in the building trade as a teenager in a family business.  Through the years, I have experienced a wide variety of challenges from which I have gained expertise and knowledge.  Through the years I have enjoyed my trade and still have a passion for it.

I have always been someone who has enjoyed being creative. I enjoy building something that others receive enjoyment from, and are happy with the end result.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

What experience does the trade professional have? Can the trade professional provide an example of previous works? How long will the job take?

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

If the job is relatively small, the most common question is "how soon can I paint?".  My answer to that is, Once the trowelling has dried, (generally within 24 hours) the job then needs to be sanded and then one can paint.

I value excelling in my work and take pride in providing the best possible product to the Customer.  I am true to my word and have an excellent work ethic.

I have over 25 years experience within the building industry where I have been working in both the domestic and commercial building sectors. I posses a high level of skill and professionalism and ensure a superior quality is provided to the customer.

Availability or access to the site (to view the job), What the start date is, What the finish date is and, What is the size of the job.

What makes your pricing competitive?

My intention is not to be the richest Plasterer, just the busiest.  My prices are always fair and very reasonable.

It is always preferable to have an onsite meeting and to view the job before giving a quote.  Under certain circumstances, an hourly rate can also be negotiated.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Level 5 / Class 5 Plaster Finishing, Glancing Light Issues and Rectification Works, All Forms of Domestic Plastering Including Ornamental Cornice.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Accepted Answer

Qualified in my trade and currently hold Certificate IV in Building and Construction, and Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety.
