Can I cut the top out of my tree to make it safe?   The advice that we always give is the tree is structurally the safest it could possibly be in its untouched form. However there are techniques as Arborists that we use, such as thinning and dead wooding trees to make them as safe as they can be. Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

As trained arborists who are qualified members of the QAA, we are: specialists in tree management, trained to give expert advice, and are bound to uphold a range of professional standards. Lopping a tree may seem like the only option, but it is important to get expert advice about whether tree lopping is the appropriate solution for your situation.   Tree loppers are not trained arborists and so are not experts in giving this advice. IMPORTANT: Tree lopping can lead to structural faults that could cost you thousands of dollars in damage, and can massively reduce the value of your property. Sometimes a lopped tree can also become unsafe, risking the wellbeing of anyone who enters your property.  For the sake of your own safety we urge you to always seek professional advice from a trained arborist. A cheaper solution in the short-term can lead to a costly solution in the long-term. We have been called in to fix tree lopping jobs that have gone horribly wrong. It’s much more cost-effective to invest in expert advice and services upfront.

Where possible, call the council before we arrive at the property to see if there are any restrictions in your area. Move any furniture or plants, this cuts down our time onsite. We all love dogs but picking up dog droppings is really  important.

You get an affordable tree care service, not a cheap job.  Given that we invest in highly qualified staff as well as cutting-edge equipment, we offer excellent value for money. The cost of a botched job can run into the thousands, so if you need the job done right the first time we can provide you an accurate quote and expert advice, we need to physically examine the tree/s.  .

Pricing is subjective and there is a lot to consider such as-  What is the condition and size of the tree? How close is the tree to the house? How close is the tree to services? What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Our highly trained staff are qualified up to a Diploma in Arboriculture. They are also trained in other relevant areas including Occupational Health Safety, Traffic Control, Chain Saw Certification, First Aid and Blue Card (commercial site).  Safety to people and property is our priority. We are fully insured (and proudly claim-free, jobs go well when we do them!) We conduct a full Risk Assessment of every job, and engage only in safe work methods that will keep your property and our staff safe at all times. We are so committed to safety that we do our own in-house climbing training once a month in our own time – a Saturday morning. Other ways that we keep people and property safe is by:  Adhering to Australian Cutting Standards Using the most advanced and safest climbing techniques Using the newest and most advanced equipment  Regularly attending QAA workshops and Conferences so that we can keep up to date with the latest tree care innovations and techniques.
