Nice blokes, fairly professional, although I was I bit surprised to find that the "drain blockage camera" they own doesn't actually fit all sewer pipes? (well at least not mine ...which aren't unusual) and as such couldn't be used! BUT the main issue I feel needs to be pointed out is the matter of being "over-charged" (more than Double in fact) compared to what they quoted?? The original response (on here) was $200, but then I rang them. They quoted me $70 /Hr + GST (+ materials). However there was no materials... and the bloke was only here for 1 hour and then charged us for 2 hours!!! The blockage was in fact "unblocked" using a regular everyday "plunger" in the first 10 minutes. He then buggered about for another 45 minutes "checking" that it was cleared and working correctly ...and then gave me a bill for $159.50 ??? So although they managed to charge me an extra $82.50 (completely unjustified) ...they will never EVER get any more of my business ..EVER again! ..and I will tell "everyone" who needs a plumber to avoid using these blokes or risk being charged "Double" what they've been quoted. They're Dishonest Tradesmen.

Hey mate. Sorry to hear you feel that way. We spoke for about 10 minutes after the job about numerous things and you were unable to advise me at that time (after you had already payed me) that you had queries in the price. Basically, we quoted $70 per hour + gst + materials. Please not that this also does not take into account travel time to and from the job which was 15 minutes each way on that particular day. By the time I had completed to the job and returned to the job site I was on it had taken 90 minutes out of my day. Therefor 2 hours of labor. Also not that I did not charge emergency call out fees in which a lot of plumbers would have requested $100 on arrival and hourly rate to follow once an hour has passed. I was able to lower the height of the toilet early, in which I then need to go to the mains to ensure that it was flushing clear. I was made known of a small inspection point at the back of the stack in which was another avenue in which I could send the camera below the toilet to ensure nothing foreign had been flushed down the toilet and got caught in the pan collar causing an obstruction at times. Unfortunately the camera head I had on the day was unable to fit up the 40mm inspection opening. This took not even ten minutes of my time to find out and therefor cost very little time! Once we have 'cleared the blockage' we don't always walk out the door. We need to ensure that this blockage won't pop up again in the next 2 days for example. So please, before you give us a bad review, actually speak to me and ask why I charged what I did and I would have been more than happy and up front to tell you and the problem would have been resolved on the spot.
