How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Preparation and planning is the key.   Ensure that other trades such as bricklayers/ceiling fixers have completed their component. For external rendering, ensure that the area to be rendered is not obstructed by plants, you should allow up to a metre clearance by either cutting plants back or temporarily transplanting them. If you have a 2-storey home, then you will need to investigate having scaffolding erected. Plastering sand should be delivered the day before work is to commence (to keep it as clean as possible). Finally, consider getting a skip bin for the clean up process.  Solid wall plastering does generate some waste product that will need to be removed.

How do you normally charge for your service?

In order to provide an accurate quote, Award Winning Plasterers requires a site visit to guage the size of the prospective job. The quote includes all materials. The home owner is required to supply plastering sand and should consider a skip bin for clean up purposes.

I completed an apprenticeship in solid wall plastering and have experience working with building companies across Perth with whom i have won awards in the past.  I also have many years experience with private renovation work and am happy to give advice to prospective renovators.
