  A main bathroom and en-suite was tiled by this Contractor including the floors, walls floor to ceiling, shower recesses and niches in walls. The main bathroom was tiled and the work was carried out to a satisfactory standard although a few over cuts are noticeable. The tiler did not return to undertake the corking in either of the main bathroom or en-suite as promised even though we were to supply the sealant. The en-suite was a different story. Tiling was poorly done in the shower with floor tiles uneven, sharp edged and the shower waste seriously compromised. Niches in the shower recess and above the toilet were horribly finished with tiles dropped out of position and poorly finished off. Tiling in to the corner of the room left a thin tile which spoiled the finish of the room. The prominent wall in front of the vanity unit and also the wall around the vanity unit were poorly laid and it was obvious that the tiler lost his level and tiling was roughly carried out to try and disguise that mistake. The main wall tiles were not plumb and subsequently corner finishes as a result of this were roughly finished. The tiler would not return to discuss the workmanship. Repeated meetings were arranged but the tiler did not front nor had the decency to contact me. Unfortunately he took the money and ran. l believe this was done to avoid costly rectification works which he was clearly aware of. Consequently he has not given me invoices for the payments made and no certification to prove that he had done the waterproofing properly. A very disappointing result when so much money had already been put in to this major renovation. On the job l found the tiler to be cooperative and believed we had mutual respect for one another however l certainly would not recommend him due to poor workmanship and subsequently his unreliability in not completing the work as agreed. The end result was that l had to have the tiling rectified at my own expense by a more reputable and experienced tradesman.

  Bass's tiling were wonderful in regards to my bathroom renovation. The tiles came promptly from the supplier and looked amazing. Sam (the tiler) met me at the suppliers to assist with picking out what I wanted. I was grateful for Sam's comment and suggestions for my bathroom renovation. The communication between myself and Sam was excellent. He provided photos through to my mobile as the job progressed each day. The end product is exactly what I wanted and I would definitely recommend Bas's tiling to anyone else looking for a friendly, reliable, trustworthy tiling business.
