  I don't recommend this business. After taking my deposit for design work all I received were excuses. Nothing was produced and so I requested a refund of my $1500 deposit. He refused and so court action was instigated. He has no money in his account that I could garnish, or he is hiding it in another account. Thoroughly disreputable behaviour. You have been warned. I would give zero stars if I could.

  When my wife and myself engaged Richard to create a unique design for our plot at Callala Beach, we thought he would accomplish close to or above our benchmarks. Little did we know that the often used term of "exceeding expectations" could be aptly applied to the end product, so much so that the passive solar design not only blew us away with performance, but also other building and design professionals that have visited our house. Well done Richard! Richards fee was recouped within 2 years on energy and water savings alone. Need I say an investment in Richard has solid returns. Trevor & Fiona Smith
