From an early age, I was inspired to get involved in the health and fitness industry. I have actively been employed in the industry since 2006 and currently teach aspiring personal trainers while operating a successful personal training company, helping everyday men and women become the best versions of themselves without all the gimmicks.

Over the years I have helped thousands of men and women however one in particular stands out whom I helped reach her body transformation goal which gave her the confidence to meet her now husband and father of her two beautiful children.

Everything from programming to consulting to motivating everyday mums and dads to achieve their health and fitness goals. I'm still working with clients that I met over 10 years ago because of my passion and genuine connection with each of them. It's a two way street and if a trainer client relationship is toxic it will not work.

Find out their coaches credentials, research their online reviews and request testimonials. The next step is to simply pick their brain on how to best reach their goal and if they are satisfied with the information given then it's a good start. Price shopping is the most common mistake people make because you ultimately get what you pay for and a great coach will never discount their programs but rather alter it to make it a win-win situation.

My background spans across the fitness industry from working with elite athletes to working in education and teaching and mentoring aspiring personal trainers. I'm still active in the RTO industry and currently work part-time as an education manager for the world's leading online fitness education company. As a result, my clients receive the most up to date evidence based programming.

Previous experience  To speed up the process I generally prefer to do a phone or in-person consultation and from there I can suggest the next appropriate steps for my clients.

Being a facility owner with a fully staffed operation, I have the ability to tailor programs to the individual client's budget without compromising the quality of their program.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We would first gather all the information we need from our potential client. Then we would perform our initial assessments to ensure we have all the relevant information we need and from there we will package up a program based on the goals and needs of the client. If a PT just offers a casual session rate then I would consider this a red flag and do further investigating.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in weight loss and 12 week body transformations. We particularly work with a lot of men and women in their 40s, 50s and 60s who have dealt with a host of health issues but once we begin the process, they begin to gain momentum and achieve great results in no time at all.
