Yes I have my own insurance,  I have been running my own business for five years, and can provide numerous references.  I stand by my work and offer a professional service at all times.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have had an interest in this type of work since I was a child, however due to circumstances of growing up in a small country town with very poor parents I couldn't do anything until I was much older.  I went back to school at the grand old age of thirty.

No I don't I have many great clients, and they all have a story behind them, far to many to share here.  They have over the years earn't my respect and I will continue to work for them as long as they need me.

I feel that i am one of the luck people that actually works in a job that they love.  I find it challenging and fulfilling and would not swap what I do.  It does have its moments but overall its great.

Education, experience, professional development, compliance, membership to professional institutions. To be a registered bookkeeper you must have membership to a professional institution.  I am a member of both Institute of Public Accountants, and the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.

I have been a bookkeeper for 15 years, I am well aware of the sensitive nature of the job and would never do anything that would jeopodise that confindentiality.  My clients rely on me and I will protect that trust.

I have 15 years experience as a bookkeeper, I have three university degrees two in commerce and one in business administration, along with my Certificate IV in financial services, but most importantly I love my job.

Type of business, compliance with regulators, size of business, what is expected of me, payroll obligations, are they are to date with their accounting, any serious issues.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

Have receipts in order and not scrunched up in a tangle mess, I have to take to much time to sort them out. Have all requested paperwork prepared, there is nothing worse then not being able to finish the job. Keep appointments, so many times I have gone to pick up and found no-one home.

I also offer the use of an accounting program in order to save my clients a little bit of money each year.  I am also a BAS service Provider.  I can work on or off site and will come to the client, I am accessible.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I have done a lot of market research to determine the market place and feel that with the services that I offer I am very competitive.  There are a lot of people out there that charge low prices to win the job but then can't do the job properly.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I will bill my clients depending on their needs or normally with their payroll, either weekly or fortnightly.  It also depends on the size of the job smaller clients I bill more frequently so as not to put to much stress on them financially

Degree in Commerce, Degree in Business Administration, Graduate Degree in Commerce, Certificate IV Financial Services, Registered BAS Service Provider.  Fully compliant, 15 years experience, references can be provided. Currently working on Masters Degree in Commerce.
