How did you decide to get into your line of work?

When I left school, I was a legal secretary for 10 years which I am grateful the experience it provided.  I always had a passion for food and when I moved from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast, I decided to take the risk with my own cafe.

It is a wonderful feeling to witness a group enjoy a special occasion in our unique setting which is always enjoyed by all.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Our Cafe provides a unique bohemian setting offering a personal experience.  Imagine a space filled with candles, one piece band and served housemade canapés to celebrate.  We are BYO which allows your special occasion to a lot more affordable.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We need to know how many people the function is for, the date of the event and what type of food you had in mind.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Have a food theme to follow so that we can catering accordingly 2. Take advantage of our BYO Beer and Wine to keep the cost down 3. If you know a local musician asking them to play at your event to save money.

What makes your pricing competitive?

All of our produce is ordered on a daily basis allowing us to offer the freshest food.  We use many local supplies which again in turn allows fresh produce.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We would provide a quote together with a menu suggestion.  Once this is confirmed, we will ask for a 50% deposit and the balance due 1 week prior to the event.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Functions and Weddings are are specialty however we also offer platters for business meetings, special occasions.  We also offer BYO
