Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

All legal firms must have professional liability insurance.  The insurance is for the purpose of protecting the clients from suffering financial loss as a consequence of professional negligence.  Nobody ever made a claim against Capellia Legal.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

It was my own experience in the Family Court, that went on for years.  after spending all my money on lawyers I took up the law studies, and finished my case.  Once equipped with a law degree I decided to practice law.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Accepted Answer

There are quite a few customer stories that I would like to share; perhaps I would need to write a book.  I will just mention one about a case where there was a hostile expert (psychiatrist) report against my client.  At the cross-examination of this expert, I demolished his credibility to the point that the judge rejected the expert's report and ordered that another exert be engaged.

What do you like most about your job?

Being successful from the client's point of view.  I in particular enjoy jobs with challenges; something that gives me an opportunity to exert my talents - and win against the odds.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Not all legal professionals are skilled in every area of law.  The customer should ask if the solicitor is skilled in the area of law required for the particular problem that the customer has.

Can you do it please?  Yes, I sure can. How much it will cost me?  My costs are very reasonable and fixed. Do you use barrister?  Normally not, but if you wish I can get one or I can work with one of your choice.

i love my job and I understand the people having to deal with legal issues.  I keep my word and I keep the clients informed of the legal and procedural issues in a non-legalese language.

[1] Don't choose another lawyer and then transfer your case to me; [2] Initial consultation should be conducted by email, at no charge [3] I will advise you what evidence we will need so you can prepare it yourself well in time

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

Depending on the client's financial position, especially those who are fighting for their children, I often offer generous discount (in some cases I hardly charge anything).  Until the end of June 2014 I offer a blanked discount of 10% to the Oneflare customers.

What makes your pricing competitive?

With the fixed fee agreement I do not waste time recording every minute that I spend on the job.  That gives me more time to do the job.  My clients can contact me any time they wish (if I am not in court, of course) but the preferred method is by email so I do not have to waste time by writing down notes.  My overheads minimal; I work from home and I do not have secretaries to do typing for me or to take phone calls.

How do you normally charge for your service?

My charges are not based on the time spent on the job, as is usually the case with other lawyer (that system promotes inefficiency).  My cost disclosure agreement is for fixed fees, stage by stage.  There are no surprises.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Enjoy winning children back to their parent(s) after the children have been taken by FACS (DOCS) and placed into foster care.  I fight for the children in the Children's Court, district Court, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal - with success.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

In addition to my formal legal training I have personal experience in the Family Court and understand my clients better than any school can teach.  I am also from an immigrant and do understand clients from variety of cultural and religions backgrounds.
