How did you decide to get into your line of work?

The art and application of make up has fascinated me since the age of 12, this fascination has led me on a journey gaining many qualifications and working with some of Australia's best loved celebrities.

Hair and Make up is my passion and nothing makes me happier than when a persons face lights up with joy at seeing themselves transformed. I have had people hug me with tears in their eyes and comment that they haven't looked that good in 20 years! I take that has a huge compliment.

What do you like most about your job?

My job is my dream job, I get to make people feel amazing about themselves and I find my job extremely rewarding. Being able to be creative and work in many different areas, is not work to me it is my passion.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Most common question is will my make up last - Yes I can testify it will last. Time and time again I ask all of my brides how they went with there trial, they all say the same thing it was still on at 1am.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

I need to know how many people require hair &/or make up. (there is a minimum call out of 2 services)  The location of where you are getting ready and what time you need to be ready by ?  Also need to know if you require a trial before hand ?

I aim to give you an affordable, professional and high quality service. The more people you have the less it is per person, please feel free to  email me for further information for groups requiring hair and make up.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

If a trial is required it is charged at a reduce rate, I tend to finalise all quotes at the trial when all of the individual requirements are discussed. The more people in a group will lower the price per person. Hair length can vary and the time required for individual hairstyles also varys this may be reflected in pricing.

My specialty lies in giving you beautiful natural enhancing make up that has the wow factor of " I wish I could look like this everyday". As part of my dedication to your special day I offer a variety of extra services.

I am a mobile freelance hair and make up artist with over 10 years experience in the industry. I have a broad range of experience and also specialise in wedding hair and make up. I have a Diploma in Entertainment Make up, Certificate 3 in Hairdressing, and a Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
