I have been fortunate to have been involved in the industry on many levels of construction including: Trade Contracting, Construction Supervising, Construction Management and Low Rise Building Contractor. This experience makes for a very diversified Inspector.
How do you normally charge for your service?
Our standard Pre-Purchase Building & Pest Inspection price is $550 inc gst. This price is based on up to a 4 bedroom Home. This inspection would take up to 4 hrs including completing the report after the inspection onsite. Larger Homes are negotiated with the Purchaser prior to the inspection. Unit with 2 bed from $385 inc gst.
What makes your pricing competitive?
Our Pricing is comparative to most building inspection providers and is actually cheaper than most. We can offer this low cost due to low overheads as we do not pay any Franchise fees, only advertisement cost's which all companies have to pay.
Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?
We can offer a reduced cost for a second inspection for the same client. If after we provide you with an inspection report for a specific property your purchase of this property falls through, we will inspect the next property for you at a reduced rate of up to 20%.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
1. Ensure the property is free of obstructions that may prevent an adequate visual inspection of the property. 2. Provide us with as much information about the property as you are able to. 3. Note any concerns you may have with the property and advise us at the time of the inspection booking.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
1. Location of the Property 2. Size of the Property ( How many bedrooms & Bathrooms ) 3. are there any adjoining structures ( Garages or sheds ) 4. Type of construction ( Brick external walls, slab on ground or timber floor on timber joists etc.)

Yes Complete Home Inspections Qld is fully insured with the Woodina Underwriting Agency and we are always available during work hours to discuss any concerns related to our reports.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
Most frequently asked Question for a pre-purchase inspection are: Q: Can you remove some plaster and check the bathroom wall, I think there might be a leak ? A: No, unfortunately until you are the owner of the property I cannot do an invasive inspection.
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
Q: Is there any part of the property inspection that is not included in your inspection report ? A: Yes, This type of inspection is a visual inspection and areas that are not accessible are not included as they cannot be inspected. ( i.e. inside eaves, no ceiling access or Manhole etc )
What do you like most about your job?
Clients who are excited about their home purchase and happy that their pre-purchase report has provided them with the ability to make an informed decision on their purchase and investment.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
One particular customer was very concerned when they received our report and there were some minor defects that although they were insignificant they appeared on the report 3 times. When I explained that these were only Minor and the home was in great condition they thanked Me & were excited again.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I have worked in the Building Industry since I left school, I have enjoyed working in the Building industry and even with the challenges of today I still enjoy the industry, meeting new people and finding new friends.
