I am a registered acupuncturist and massage therapist. I specialise in sports injuries and pain management. By following the theory of Chinese Medicine I am able to activate the muscular system as a whole. This helps relieve tension through, not only, the affected muscles but the muscle groups adjacent. By working this way I am able to help provide a lasting, sustained treatment. Acupuncture has been shown to activate areas in the brain where pain is propagated and perceived. Thus, by placing needles in the appropriate points we can alter our perception of pain. It has also been shown to help in the management of other disharmonies. Though not limited to, this includes allergies, skin disorders, digestive issues, gynaecological or emotional problems. As a registered acupuncturist I am competent and able to assist you with re-acquiring the balance within you.
