As a plumber it is mandatory to have professional indemnity insurance that covers the client for bad workmanship or a mishap that causes damage to the clients propery. we also have public liability insurance. all our work is guaranteed for seven years .

At school I wanted to be a plumber , an opportunity arose through a friend of my father. after a 3 month trial he took me on as an apprentice. after a 4 year apprenticeship I decided to keep going>

Reliability comes from being organzed, knowing where you have to be and at what time and through reliabilaty people tend to find you trustworthy. To be reliable and tustworthy is part of the trade and if your not, I dont think you would be in business as long as I have.

Service, reliabilaty, experiance,quality, knowledge of products, parts and materials. building knowledge from below ground preperation to through to roofing guttering and downpipes. through this knowledge and experiance  I am able to work with project managers and other trades to make sure the project runs as smootly as possible.

There location, exactly what the problem is,access to the problem. If its a renovation or new building, a visual inspection, plans and specifications and knowing what other trades will be involved.

By knowing exactly what they want, knowing what type of appliances and fixtures they will be using. coordinating the job if there are other trades involved, giving the tradesperson clear access to the job

Pricing competitveness comes from buying materials at the right price, carrying a good supply of stock and most of all being thorough and efficiant on the way I plan and perform the job.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Under normal circumstances where I am hired for a renovation or planed work, payment can be from progress payments on an ongoing job and then payment on completion. In an emergency situation a 30 day invoice or payment plan can be arranged .

I have always spead myself out among the various aspects of the plumbing trade  to keep myself versatile and more knowledgeable to what is going on in the industry.

Being a Licenced plumber I have been trained in many fascists of plumbing through madatory schooling and on the job work experience. Other qualifications I have are in the petrol and chemical industy, licenced to perform High Risk Work and various plant and equipment licences .
