  DQ Designs have been absolutely fantastic to work with. Diego and Nadia have just recently designed our residential home and have been nothing short of amazing. even after the design process was complete they were extremely helpful with the Builder making sure all was running smoothly. they have stuck with us through the whole process, dealt with the shire, engineers and builder etc.. we haven't had to do a thing! Highly recommend these guys if you want an easy process for the design for your residential or commercial build. Thanks guys :)

  I met Diego nearly 2 years ago to design my two storey house, Diego is a qualified architect in his business, starting from understanding the customer's scope of project towards meeting their objectives and needs, very quick responsive to customer's queries, excellent skills in many areas: a) good researcher for the available products to complete the project, b) capable to provide alternative options for developing ideas, c) fast track to solve problems with the Local Governments/ Councils and other in general d) very enthusiastic to provide solutions for issues might be raised by stakeholders, e) excellent skills in communication: from being very good listener to customers, very clear and direct in delivering messages, very nice and polite in all his workplace communications, confident in his interaction with others, respect others views and ways of thinking and their ideas, open minded person, flexible to use all forms of communications that suits the clients and well prepared to receive feedback from others to improve his business Diego is very honest and friendly person that satisfies customers in both: complete the project in timeframe set initially, show the quality that meet the clients needs and has the personality that let him interact with others easily and in a very friendly manner I couldn't find higher stars than 5 to feed back to this very qualified architect young man, Wishing him much prosperity as he continue and hoping him reach all of your goals

  I believe, Diego presented himself to me as an architect and made many nice promises. The project started off well but quickly became plagued with delays, lack of communication, failure to understand the concept of the design and a lot of bad advice. I also discovered along the way that a Bachelor's degree of Architecture does not actually make a person an architect. After nearly a year of slogging on I am left with a building project that has only been partially approved, the builders struggle to make sense of the plans, the Structural Engineering Report will have to be reworked and I will have to liaise with my local council myself in order to get the rest of my project approved. I am not a happy customer.

  False claims of being an architect is in breach of the Architects Act and DQ Designs respect the act and pride ourselves on our professional services provided to all clients. DQ Designs provide services to liaise and obtain council approval, which speeds up the approval process. In some cases, the client or builder liaise with the council to obtain approvals, which can lead to longer approval times and partial council approvals. Advice given to clients are based on 13 years of industry experience in building and architectural design. My professional opinion is that $100,000 is insufficient to build an extension to an existing house, new balcony, carport, large outdoor alfresco, custom built swimming pool with decking and a new stand alone granny flat. As the client initially intended for rental income from the granny flat, the income would fund the rest of the construction works over time and with some patience. DQ Designs have fully completed architectural drawings for all of the requested works to Australian Standards, Energy Efficiency Standards and Residential Design Codes. The project has obtain Planning Approval and Building Permit. The granny flat is fully constructed and on the right track in gaining additional revenue to fund the clients dream home. As all of our clients can relate, building and designing your dream home takes time and patients, especially when difference of opinions from third parties create communication difficulties and confusion towards the end goal. Being flexible with your methods and persistent with your goals will see project come true.   I built my first home two years ago and what was an overhwhelming experience dealing with the builders, Diego made it a fun and pleasant one.
