Location: Buderim, QLDJob Description: I recently discovered a water leak at my property in Buderim during the recent heavy rain. I had a plumber attend and investigate, and after checking the plumbing they advised that the issue does not appear to be a pipe leak. Instead, they believe the water ingress is likely related to water pressure and drainage issues behind a retaining wall. The water is entering the subfloor / cavity area of the house, and there is visible water pooling and soil washout along the wall, particularly during heavy rainfall. The plumber suggested that the retaining wall or drainage behind it may be failing or not draining correctly, allowing water to build up and push through. Im looking for someone experienced with retaining walls, drainage, or structural landscaping to: Inspect the retaining wall and surrounding drainage Identify the cause of the water ingress Advise on the best repair solution (e.g., drainage installation, wall repair, waterproofing, or replacement if required) Provide a quote for the necessary works Access is available to the subfloor area, where the water is currently visible. Ive attached the photos provided by the plumber which show the affected area and water pooling.
