  This was a great experience from start to finish. Dan was extremely quick to respond to my request. He then provided a very fair quote with a clear explanation of the services that were included in the quote. The team then moved our furniture and antiques with great care.

  DRD Removals were absolutely awesome. I contacted Dan last minute and he was able to accommodate at short notice. I required 3 stops which was not a problem for them at all. Dan & his offsider had a huge truck and were extremely efficient. I honestly could not fault a thing. They even helped hook up the washing machine and put legs on tables. They were also by far the most reasonably priced removalists. Both genuine guys. I would give DRD Removals 100 stars if I could! Would highly recommend to everyone and I most definitely would use them again. We can't thank you enough Dan!

  Short answer - AVOID I have moved many times both nationally and internationally and I have never been so appalled or stressed during a move. Dan arrived without any staff - after confirming the day before he and his worker will be ready to go 7am the day of the move. I had a time frame I had to be out of the premises. I had to enlist my sister, her husband and myself to help load and unload - it was long, hot, horrible work. He then charged double because of the extra time it took... so he ended up better off by only having himself and having three people helping him that were unpaid. There were no covers so my mattress and all soft furnishings have grease on them that I will have to get a professional cleaner to get off. A cowboy from start to finish. I thought going 'local' would be a supportive thing for the community. Severely let down and it really took the shine off the move to our new place - took a few days to get over it actually. Felt ripped off and lied to.

  I'm very sorry you feel that way Michelle..I could not help the fact that my worker called in sick that morning and I most certainly did not charge double I in fact lowered the hourly rate from $110 per hr to $80 per hr to compensate for the mess around I wrapped everything in industry standard pads and Mark's that were made were from you and your family resting everything on bare concrete outside the truck....even the fact you have posted this almost six months after your move is strange I'm sorry you felt distressed on the day but please refrain from lying in your review
