Simon hired EcoCell Forrest Plumbing & DrainageVerifiedJul 17, 2017Job Type: Plumbing InspectionLocation: Petrie, QLDJob Description: Hi, I am looking for a plumber to locate and offer solutions to fix the dirty water I have in my house. Sometimes the water comes out with a distinctive brown colour, sometimes it is merely off-white and yellowish. Not all the taps do this however. Just after a quote at this point and depending on solutions and the prices we can go from there. I would prefer if you have a payment plan we could use if we come up with a solution. Thanks.Simon's review

What do you like most about your job?
I love plumbing, I know its a funny thing to say but most good plumbers are passionate about plumbing. We believe our services are important to maintaining clean and healthy living environments and we are proud of our extensive knowledge base we have. Plumbing is a multi skilled trade that crosses into many other trade skills and you have to be a smart person to be good at this job.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
I once inspected a leaking bath for an insurance job. I quoted a repair to the waste of the bath.
When the insurance company received my quote they phoned my and asked how could I do this job so cheaply. I had quoted $750 and the insurers builder had quoted $24000.
Consequently I revised my quote to a higher amount and supplied an entire new bathroom to the customer for under $7000. The customer was ecstatic.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
My family has a history in the plumbing field. My brother and cousin currently run their own plumbing companies. I did my apprenticeship with my brother and he taught me the old school way to plumb. He also was progressive and innovative in the trade field and he trained me using the same techniques. I am very proud to say that I am a class above the rest of plumbers I have ever worked with.
