I guarantee my work 100%, I have my PL from when I was a dance teacher. Business insurance is being finalised over the next few dys.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Ive always been a creative person. I excelled in visual arts, design and tech, textiles etc in school, and growing up with a single mum and all her makeup, watching her get ready every morning before school. Its so very cliche but monkey see monkey do. It also makes me really happy.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Anytime I am backstage at a dance event, I just am constantly laughing with all the girls and guys. But one of my favourite memories was turning one of the male dancers into a cyborg, piecing his costume and hair together was an absolute blast!

What do you like most about your job?

I love that I meet so many inspirational people, that they are just as creative as I am with so many different themes and looks to create. I love that through this job, Im able to travel the country support events that mean something to me.

If they have experience in the field of their sport or event? I have been on stage my whole life, so I know what works and what doesnt. There are so many talented people out there, but customers need to be sure their chosen artist has well rounded experience and knowledge.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

I always get asked: can you do this look for me? Answer... Ofcourse, but I like to always slightly differ the final look, so it is more customised to the client and their event. Facial structure, skin tone, hair colouring can all make things look quite different, I like to advise my clients of this.

I've been in the same shoes as the athletes, I've had experience with MUA's who have made it difficult, not been supportive or just not willing to make me feel like I was in the right hands. I will always make sure my clients are put first on a stressful day.

I have spent my life on stage, dancing and touring internationally as a professional dancer, cheerleader and a nationally placed sports model within the body building arena. I know what works and what doesn't. What will wash out under stage lights and what will last!

All relevant event information; Date, Time (start and desired finish time), Location, desired look, any additional pieces wanted for their theme or styling. Be as clear and concise as possible and be open with communication to your artist.

1st and foremost is research! What do you like about their work, are they flexible in their approach and happy to assist you to make your day / event easier?  2nd find someone local - this will help reducing any travel tarifs,  3rd try and avoid early starts on sundays and public holidays.

Each requirement is different for each person. I tailor my pricing and like to work with my clients to keep the prices as low as possible. Working with my clients to truly understand what they are after. Pricing is always varied.

8 years experience as a Makeup Artist.  26 years as a dancer, Nationally placed Sports model.  Selected to travel interstate to cover a variety of Dance Championships to provide makeup to both national and international athletes.   Trained with Napoleon in 2008.
