  After the first meeting, when they understood the situation, they didn't tell me the initial quote was not valid anymore and needs to be updated as the tax return is much more complex. The surprise came in the end when the cost was 6+ times higher. I'm not complaining about the cost (I have no idea how much another tax return agent would have charged me) but about the fact that they did not tell me the actual cost after the first meeting.

  We are sad to hear about this. What appeared in the first instance to be a simple tax return, both by Sorin and ourselves turned out to have 2 complex Issues. These took several hours to resolve and correctly apply the relevant Australian Tax Laws. We have already indicated to Sorin that our standard fee will apply next year provided that we do not have the extra items discovered this year. There is no reason to expect extras next year.
