  I was extremely impressed with the pre purchase inspection that was carried out by Tony from Express Building inspections. He was available at short notice, he was very professional throughout the entire inspection, answering any questions that I had in regards to the property. He obviously has allot of experience and up to date knowledge of the building industry which enables him to look for potential problems, no matter how big or small, so that I received a comprehensive report on the property. I thought i had inspected the house for any potential problems as I have bought, renovated and sold 7 properties previously, so I thought I had checked the property and I was aware of most of the potential problems. I was extremely relieved that I employed Tony to inspect the property I was intending on purchasing as he has saved me potentially $10,000s + + in repairs that I just could not afford. He highlighted some problems I didnt even see, despite one of them being quite significant. He spent allot of time inspecting EVERY aspect of the house including the ceiling cavity, roof, and all appliances,opening all of the cupboards testing for moisture, leaks, checked the fences etc.etc etc. He offered me some excellent, well informed yet unbiased advice in regards to the property I was planning on purchasing. Plus he promptly emailed me an extensive report with photos of all areas of the house including the roof, both inside and outside. It included all aspects of the interior of the property including inside cupboards, taps, cupboards, appliances, and areas which showed signs of water damage etc Tony also provided pictures and reports on the exterior of the property including, water pressure, soil movement, gutters, condition of the tiles, absolutely EVERYTHING I asked for and beyond! Very extensive! I would highly recommend Tony for anyone looking to purchase a property, even if the property looks immaculate and is not very old, it is well worth having Tony check out the property for potential problems so that you can make a well informed decision in regards to whether you can afford to purchase the property taking into account the additional costs of repairing any potential problems . Being a single female, I felt very comfortable talking to Tony about the various issues and possible solutions to fix the problems. He is a very trust worthy, honest and experienced tradesman. A rare find in my experience! There are quite a few building inspectors who are paid a bonus by the selling real estate agent to give the house a clear report. Tony is definitely NOT one of these dodgy inspectors.He is 100% trustworthy and he works for you, not the real estate agent, as I have experienced with a different inspector in the past. I would highly recommend Tony to anyone considering purchasing a property whether it be new or old. Thank you so much for all of your time and advice that you offered me yesterday I REALLY appreciate it!
