  I have sincerely struggled to stay committed to a regular strength and cardio fitness regime until the day I began working with Martin. I made the goal of completing a half marathon last year with very little distance running experience and with part of me sure that this goal would not be achievable due to my lack of tolerance for intense, consistent exercise and low self-belief. I was also very nervous to work with a PT because I feel uncomfortable working out in front of people. Martin responded to my open call for a PT and met with me within two days, conducted a thorough assessment and formulated a personalised training plan. I have never been more confident in my body’s ability to not only run distance, but to look and be physically strong, and for me to feel confident in shorts, bathers, and to work out not in private anymore. Martin regularly put me at ease, saw my capabilities when I couldn’t, encouraged me and checked in on my progress. Importantly, he made sessions fun (I never missed one!) and demonstrated a genuine and rare effort to get to know me and share his specialised knowledge of his field of passion. I have had to move overseas but will be returning to work with Martin once arriving back in Australia. Thank you for all you’ve done, Martin. Anyone able to work with you is incredibly fortunate and will exceed their goals.
