Born in Jersey, Channel Isles, I spent several years partially satisfying wanderlust until I arrived in Sydney, Australia in 1988, and loved it so much I applied for permanent residency. After working for Allens and then Mitsui for ten years, another life-changing experience occurred: parenthood. With three children growing fast, the desire to start my own business also grew. I've always been passionate about the written word, with a love of reading, writing and a natural ability to spot spelling and grammatical errors, so after completing two professional editing and proofreading courses, I created Full Proofreading Services (FPS) in 2007. Eight years on, FPS has clients Australia-wide and overseas. Although I work one on one with writers, I now have a team of qualified, experienced contractors who assist me with attending to the​ needs of government departments, businesses, NGOs and universities. We help these organisations to express themselves eloquently using the written word, and produce polished material that presents a unique, professional image.
