• Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

  Gary Hicks Painting is covered by 10 Million in Public Liability insurance and I guarantee my interior and new exterior work to last for 10 years provided it is kept clean, however with exterior re-paints I will do the best job possible but I cannot guarantee it unless I take it back to bare boards (which obviously takes longer so costs more) as it is not possible to know what paint has been used previously. Generally though my exterior paint jobs last for 10 years.

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  I finished up at Fletcher Jones and moved to Geelong where I started painting with the next door neighbour that I grew up with. I loved it and ended up with my own business.
