I have always been interested in painting & decorating so I thought I will do a mature age apprenticeship to gain my qualification .it's the best thing I have ever done.

My customers carnt believe how good there property's look after they have been painted by me.they also say what we promise we do and that we return there property back as clean as I was before we started.

The thing I most like about my job is looking at the before and after photos of the job and also most importantly the reaction from my clients when they see how good the property now looks.

A customer should ask a tradesman 1 are they fully insured 2 are they fully qualified 3 can they supply testimonials from existing clients. 4 see if they have a Web site. 5 always ask if the quote includes a full 2 coat paint system.

The things customers normally ask are. 1.how long do you estimate job will take to complete.     I normally estimate around 14 days for a full repaint depending on size of property 2.how many coats of paint. I always do a 2 coat system as recommended by paint manufacturer.  3.what brands of paint do I use. I use and recommend du lux, hay mes, solver

The thing that makes me a trustworthy person and most reliable is that I'm the owner of the painting business and also the person who quotes you job and completes your job. I'm in this business to offer best service , price and advice.

The typical things I need to know before I quote a job is 1 interior or exterior work (weather depending) 2 how urgent is the job 3 arranging a time to do a site inspection

A customer can save money by 1 making sure we have clear access to the areas that need painting.2 I supply paint and materials at a trade price. 3 the customer pays by direct debit or credit card.

The thing that makes my pricing better than my competitors is that I believe I'm the cheapest in the industry and I don't try to make big profit margins as I'm a one man show (owner /painter).

On small jobs I quote them out as a day rate.on the larger jobs I charge them as a fixed price quote. But sometimes we do charge as an hourly rate depending on the work that's involved.

I specialize in new homes , repaints residential and commercial, rental properties.

I completed my cert 3 in painting & decorating. This makes me a fully qualified tradesman. I also was voted best pre apprentice in 2008 for Holmesglen tafe and also master builders association of Victoria.
