Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are fully insured through Rapid Solutions with a 10Million dollar public liability cover. Depending on the pest treatment carried out however our usual warranty period would be 6mths for a domestic spider & cockroach treatment.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I was 18 years old and working in an office block and thought that I needed to work outside in the fresh air. I spotted an advertisement for a trainee pest control operator and thought it sounded really good and the rest is history

The most satisfying part of the job is being able to help people out of a uncomfortable situation it is also good to meet all the new people each day and also continue to service customers for many years, sometimes creating a friendship with them.

Do you carry an up to date insurance policy ? Can you supply a copy of your Certificate of currency ? Are you licenced ? Can you supply a copy of your current licence ?

What chemicals are used and are thay dangerous? We use only chemicals which are registered for use for the treatment of that particular pest.The majority of the chemicals we use are of a natural origin eg pyrethrum group of chemicals from the root of the daisy plant so therefore are a very low toxicity level.

Greg has been involved in the pest industry now for 32 years. His experience of treating all pests is vast and in the time we have had our own business we have not had 1 claim made against us through our insuranace company.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Pest problem you are having, Location of job and time since last treatment. Size of property to be treated eg; 3-4 bedroom home, separate garage,carports, and which pest problems yore experiencing.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

Our jobs are usually priced on a one to one basis ie; It is usually determined by the size of the property and the pests that are required to be treated. For example a spider & cockroach treatment on a normal standard 3 bedroom home would usually be between $250 & 275.00.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Although we carry out treatments to all pests in various situations we really do believe taht we are exceptional when it comes to Termite treatments and inspections.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Greg and his staff are all fully qualified certificate 3 pest management technicians, Greg has 32 years experience and his technician Mick has 7 years. We are fully qualified termite inspectors.
